ABOUT
An independent end-of-life directory, and how it is made
PartingPoint helps families find and compare end-of-life services — funeral homes, cemeteries, cremation, hospice and the many services around them — and explains their rights along the way. It is free for families, and placement is never sold.

Who runs it
PartingPoint is a Richard Delgado and FullyEQPD project, operated by Fully Equipped Inc. The provider directory currently covers Missouri, Illinois and Kansas. State rights guides are published for 50 states; each one names who reviewed it and when, at the foot of the page.
Two AI assistants are part of the site and are always labeled as AI: Ruth, for individuals and families, and Steward, for people who work in end-of-life care. Our sister products are separate sites: Lasting Farewells (online memorials) and Selfie Condolences.
How listings are built
A listing starts from public business information: name, address, telephone number, website, opening hours and the Google rating as recorded when we gathered it. Some categories are official bodies in their own right — vital records offices, medical examiners, veterans cemeteries — and some draw on official data, such as Medicare’s public data for nursing homes and home health. Each listing page says which level of information it carries:
Public information — gathered from public sources and not yet confirmed by the business. Claimed — the business has claimed the page and reported its own details; those details have not been independently audited. Verified — an optional, paid audit whose scope, findings and dates are published with the listing. Payment does not buy placement or guarantee a passing result. See how verification works.
We do not publish prices, licence status or service claims without a source. Where a price list is not on file, the page says so and suggests how to ask for one.
Editorial policy
Sources first. Guides and rights pages cite the official or primary sources they rely on, and rights pages keep the passage each statement rests on.
How AI is used. AI tools help us research and draft guides and rights pages, and Ruth and Steward are AI. A rights guide is released only after review, and its reviewer and review date are shown on the page. The official sources behind released rights guides are re-fetched automatically every other month, and any source that moved, failed to load or no longer contains its quoted text is flagged for a person to check.
Dates. Rights guides show when their sources were last checked, and that date changes only when a check actually happened.
Independence. No listing is sponsored and there is no paid placement. Businesses can claim their page for free.
Not advice. Our guides explain how things generally work and where to check. They are not legal, financial or medical advice; for a decision that matters, confirm with the provider, the official source cited, or a licensed professional.
Corrections
If you own or manage a listed business, claim the listing to correct its details — claiming is free. Anyone can report an error through the contact page or by writing to info@partingpoint.com. What we do with what you send is described on the privacy page.
