What PartingPoint collects, and what it does with it
PartingPoint is a directory of end-of-life services run by Fully Equipped Inc. Most of the site can be read without giving us anything. This page describes the few places where you can, and what happens then.

Reading the directory
No account is needed and we do not run advertising or third-party analytics scripts. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps the ordinary server records that any website produces — the address your connection comes from, the page requested, the browser type — for security and performance, under its own retention rules.
Listings show public business information: names, addresses, telephone numbers, websites, opening hours, and Google ratings and reviews as recorded when we gathered them. If you are the business and something is wrong, use the claim link on the listing or write to us.
When you write to us
The contact form, the welcome-page feedback form, and the business claim form save what you type — your name, email address, telephone number if you give one, the business you are writing about, and your message — in our database so we can answer and keep a record of what was said. Claim requests also record the business domain used as proof of ownership and, later, the answers a business owner gives in the profile questionnaire. We use these details only to handle your request and to run the listing; we do not sell them or use them for marketing.
We send email about your request (a receipt for a claim, next steps, billing notices) through a transactional email service (Brevo). The newsletter box on the home page does not yet store or send addresses anywhere; the newsletter has not started.
Ruth
Ruth is an assistant for families. What you type to Ruth, and her reply, are stored so the conversation can be improved and so a plan you save can be shown to you again. To write a reply, what you type is sent to the AI model provider that powers Ruth; the email address on a saved plan is never sent with it. Please do not include a Social Security number, financial account details, or other information you would not want kept. A saved plan is reached only through its private link; it can hold an email address if you choose to add one, and asking us to delete it marks it deleted and removes it from view.
Paid profiles
Business owners who choose a paid profile pay through Stripe. Card numbers are entered on Stripe's pages and never reach our servers; we keep the billing status and the identifiers Stripe gives us so the profile can be kept current.
Cookies
The site sets a cookie only to keep a signed-in business owner in the owner portal, and to keep our own staff signed in to the inbox. There are no advertising cookies and no cookies for tracking across sites.
Where information is kept, and who sees it
Our database is hosted by Turso and the site is served by Cloudflare, both in the United States. Information is shared only with the service providers named on this page, each to do the one job described (hosting, database, email, payments, the AI model behind Ruth), and when the law requires it. Our Facebook Page publishes links to listings; that integration only posts to our own Page and does not read anything about Facebook users. Facebook's own privacy policy governs what happens on Facebook.
Your choices
Write to info@partingpoint.com to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We answer from the same address. Business owners can correct their listing through the claim process at any time. Form submissions are kept as long as they are needed to handle the request and keep the listing accurate; a deletion request is honored unless a record must be kept for billing or legal reasons.
Children
The site is written for adults arranging or planning services and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
When the site starts doing something new with personal information, this page changes the same day and the date at the top moves.
